12 children and parents, plus Children & Families Minister at St Pancras Church, visited Callestick Farm & Ice Cream Parlour in Truro. A coach was booked as transport for the visit and the children received an individual picnic lunch box, plus the farm offered free ice cream. The children were able to meet the dairy cows and have fun in the farms designated play area.
“The farm visit was wonderful! There will be a thank you letter and pics winging their way to you tomorrow- the families who came have very sick children, have suffered severe mental health problems and suffered domestic violence - I cannot begin to tell you how much they enjoyed their day!!”
