CHOMP BIG DAY OUT

Chomp is a school holiday lunch club providing nutritious food and fun for families feeling the financial pressure during the school holidays. They provide a free delicious meal, games and crafts at locations across Brighton and Hove.

Chomp is our life-long partner who is active all year through. This summer, Meals & More provide additional support for The Big Day Out programme with expectations of creating more childhood memories for children.

Chomp’s children had a fantastic time at the Sea-life Centre at Brighton, which happens to be the oldest working aquarium in the world.  It really was the highlight of the summer for many families, who would never been able to afford to go. There were 118 family members attending the Big Day Out. Normally, the admittance would cost over £2,000. The aquarium allowed us to register as a school group, which meant that all of the families that had registered were able to get in! The team spent 2 hours there. The children were super excited watching all sorts of wonderful fish, including sting rays, jelly fish, sharks and turtles.
