Two coach trips were arranged to take families for the day from Blacon – one on the Coronation Bank Holiday Monday, to New Brighton, Wirral.  The other at the end of the summer holidays, to Colwyn Bay in North Wales.  Families were also provided with packed lunches to have on the day.
Total numbers at both coach trips = 39 adults plus 79 children = 118 in total.
