📢 Tackling Child Food Poverty: A Step Forward in Parliament 🍎

This week, Meals & More held a vital Parliamentary briefing to address child food poverty and food insecurity and highlight the importance of holiday provision for children in need.

The event was attended by 42 MPs and staff, who heard from key Meals & More representatives, including Peter and Jade, members of the charity’s team, Pete, a trustee and Sysco employee, Helen, also from Sysco, and members of the DGA team.

Together, they highlighted the critical need to extend the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) to benefit all children in lower-income households, not just those on free school meals.
